Thank you for considering serving as a coach, assistant coach, or team manager in the Abbotsford Soccer Association.
As a member in good standing with the Fraser Valley Youth Soccer Association and having attained our Club Charter Standard One with BC Soccer, we must adhere to the strict guidelines outlined by these two bodies as well as the Canadian Soccer Association.
All team head coaches and/or co-coaches (where duties are shared) must be certified according to the age level to which they have been assigned. Appointed team coach and/or co-coaches will have their certification paid for by the club, along with the potential to claim 100% credit of applicable registration fees of their child. Certain criteria do apply with respect to the fee credit program.

All team officials (coaches, assistant coaches, team managers) MUST have a current Criminal Record Check on file with the club. The club has an online application process that will be shared with applicants once the Technical Director has approved their application and assigned them to a team. CRCs are good for three years from date of approval and must be on file with the ASA.
