Skill Centre Training is a Canada Soccer recommended standards-based grassroots academy style program that prioritizes age-appropriate individual skill development, providing players a fundamental base of the skills and habits needed for successful participation in divisional teams in the future. Practices revolve around time on the ball for all players, developing skill within realistic, problem solving (game related) environments, and fostering a love for soccer. This is not a team program. Within ages and genders, various groupings will occur during training and on game days at the discretion of the coaching staff. Groupings are not permanent and movement between groups throughout the season allows for all facets of a player’s development (Technical/Tactical/Psycho-social) to flourish. Movement between groups is based on individual player progress and development needs. This process is overseen by the club & technical lead and staff coaches.
