Dates: March 31 – June 18, 2020 (12 weeks)
Player’s Birth Year: 2010-2013
Program Cost: $170.00

From the commencement of Spring 2020, the Discoveries program will be merging with our Street Soccer program to create the ASA Community Soccer League. This new initiative will have two tiers or divisions –

Children’s (2010-2013) + Youth (2002-2009)

By aligning these programs, it is envisioned that those players and families, who do not seek to pursue competitive travel programs and who may be relatively inexperienced or indeed, new to the game of soccer, will have the appropriate environment that meets their needs and that will provide for an inclusive, fun, game orientated recreation program.

The ASA Community Soccer League will be team-based with one game day per week. Registered players will be assigned to a team with an appointed parent-volunteer team coach. Multi game formats of 4v4 up to 8v8 are used and are based around registration uptake and/or attendees at any one session.

The appointed Program Director, Trevor O’Neill, will provide appropriate oversight and leadership for all sessions and will have the authority to transfer players between teams, in order to maintain parity amongst all teams.

Key aspects of the Community Soccer League program for all age groups include; minimal coach interference, free-play, self-discovery and lots of game time.
