EXCEL GOALKEEPER ACADEMY U11-U13

The guiding principles of the Excel Goalkeeper Academy incorporates both the technical and tactical elements of the goalkeeper position.

The main goal of this academy is to create a well-rounded goalkeeper that has the strength, fitness, confidence and technique required to be a goalkeeper at their own individual level.

Boys & Girls U11-U13 (2014 – 2016)

Registration: 

  • Early Fee (May 1-June 1st): $195
  • Regular Fee (June 2nd-August 1): $200
  • Late Fee (August 2-September): $250

U11-U13 ASA GK’s are FREE (contact info@abbotsfordsoccer.com to receive PROMO registration code) GK Apparel can be purchased separately if desired ($55).

U11-U18 NON-ASA GK’s – Cost: $203.00 (inc. Excel Academy apparel: Sweatshirt & T. Shirt)

Program description

Key areas of focus are:

● Breakaway saves
● High balls and tipping
● Distribution from hands and feet
● Positioning
● Diving
● Communication

Utilizing a mixture of individual, partner and group exercises to work on the above skills as well as coordination, fitness and strength.

The main goal of this academy is to create a well-rounded goalkeeper that has the strength, fitness, confidence and
technique required to be a goalkeeper at their own individual level.
