What is the Wee Kickers Program?
The Wee Kickers is based on the street soccer concepts of free play ,
small sided games & minimal rules . No set teams until Under 8, young
children start to identify with the concept of “team” around the age of
7, so forming season long teams & having coaches, refs, rules for these
young players is an adult-imposed condition that eliminates most
connections to the ideals of street soccer & free play.
Purpose of Wee Kickers Program? …
• To give the game back to the kids.
• To instill a love for the game.
• To develop volunteer facilitators into future coaches.
• To educate parents on positive sideline behavior.
• To show why “Soccer Is A Player’s Game” & “Let The Game Be The
Teacher”

The Mini Kickers Under 6 Thru Under 10
What is the Mini Kickers Recreational Program?
The Mini Kickers Recreational Program is based on the smaller version of
the “big game” known as “mini soccer”. The emphasis is on fun &
sportsmanship, learning the basic skills, concepts, rules of the game &
allowing the player to learn & enjoy their game in a positive, low
pressure environment.
No standings are kept, no powerhouse teams are kept together year in &
out.
What You Can Expect For The Season
The season starts in mid September runs till the end of February with a
Christmas break from mid December till mid January. End of season
windups are usually during the first couple of Saturdays in March.

Teams consist of 12 players and we try to form the teams based on area,
but this is not always possible .We try to balance and mix teams each
season.
