The U16 Boys Mariners are on their way to Toronto to represent British Columbia in April of 2008. 

They boys began their journey on Friday when they headed over to Vancouver Island for the Provincial Championships.  In their first match they beat Victoria by a score of 4-2.

In the match leading up to the final was a 9-0 victory over West Vancouver that placed them in the final on Sunday against Lower Island Selects. 

The boys hung on in a tight match to seal the 6-4 victory over the Lower Island squad and become 2008 Provincial Futsal Champions.

The Mariners had a record of 5 wins 0 losses 0 ties 42 goals for and 8 goals against over the weekend.  Players that played for the Futsal squad are as follows:

Dylan Kular, Ryan Ledbrook, Kevin Klassen, Adam Platinga, Koby Byrne, Alex Musselman, Joe Gill, Amrit Sidhu, Marek Klassen, Spencer Mckinnon, Landon smith, and Scott Medley.
