 One could not have asked for a better evening to wrap up the boys
Spring/Summer soccer league. Right near the end of the European
Championships, all teams competed with passion and excitement that was
sparked by exciting soccer and enthusiastic play. In the final, Chelsea
defeated Barcelona 4-3 to win the league cup after overcoming a 3-1
halftime score. The game was very exciting with many goal scoring
opportunities at both ends. In the consolation round Athletico Madrid
played Juventus defeating them 5-2. A special thank you goes out to all
the coaches for their organization and commitment to the summer soccer
program. Well done players and coaches.
