U12 Mariner Boys
Double Medal Winners - Conference Cup and League Champions
The U12 Boys Mariner team have had a great season this year! They have
worked very hard and stayed disciplined and focused over a rough patch of
bad weather, to still come out playing hard and strong at each match.
This has rewarded them with a 12 - 1 -1 record, which brands them as
League Champions!
In addition, the Mariners had to win three Coastal Cup games
throughout the season, in order to advance into the Conference Cup
Finals last weekend against Peace Arch. The opponents gave it their all,
which resulted in a very tight match. The Mariners were pretty sleepy
the first half, but woke up in the second to string some passes together
and get some good tackles in to gain more possession, and pull out a
win.
Coaches Mark and Marissa Byrne would like to thank the boys and their
parents for a second great season! Congratulations boys, for winning
both the LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS and the CONFERENCE CUP!
